Dicepa makes products which substitue those made from virgin pulp.
According to studies, the use of recovered fiber (recycled paper) compared to paper made from virgin fiber reduces air pollution by 74%, water consumption by 35% and energy consumption by 64%.
The fact that Dicepa works with 100% recycled paper results in savings of a proportional amount of virgin fiber: 1 kg. recovered pulp is equal to 17 kg. of new wood. One ton of recycled paper avoids the destruction of 30 m2 of forrest, i.e. about 15 to 20 trees which, in our country, take an average of 17 years to grow.
“ Dicepa prevents the emission of 27,000 tons of CO2 into the atmosphere per yea”
Additionally, recovered paper used as a raw material by Dicepa, prevents the emission of 27,000 tons of CO2 into the atmosphere per year, that non-recycled paper would be generate at a landfill site
